State Opposition leader in Ballarat

MATTHEW GUY

State Opposition leader Matthew Guy has been in Ballarat to promote a plan to provide 24/7 professional emergency counselling to Victims of Crime.

The Liberal leader said that if they win next year's election there will be hubs for the service in Bendigo, Ballarat and other regional centres.

Mr Guy said at the moment it takes around 2 weeks for most victims of crime - including family violence - to get professional counselling.
