Three women have been treated by paramedics following a crash east of Bendigo.
The collision occurred last Friday, September 11th, with one of the women flown to a hospital in Melbourne for treatment.
Reports suggest a grey Mazda was travelling east along Axedale-Toolleen Road when it struck an Audi heading north at the intersection of the Northern Highway.
In a statement to Gold Central Victoria, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said their crews responded to reports of a collision in Toolleen at about 3.45pm on the Friday.
“A specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew, as well as Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedic crews assessed and treated three people at the scene,” the spokesperson said.
“A woman in her 20s with upper body injuries was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“A woman in her 20s with upper and lower body injuries was transported by road ambulance to Bendigo Health in a stable condition.
“A woman in her 30s with upper and lower body injuries was transported by road ambulance to Bendigo Health in a stable condition.”
