Bolobek Garden Fair
Macedon, VIC — This October, one of Victoria’s most cherished garden events is back and better than ever! The Bolobek Garden Fair returns for its 12th year, inviting visitors to explore, indulge, and connect in a setting that’s as rich in history as it is in horticultural beauty.
Just under an hour from Melbourne, Bolobek is a private garden that opens annually, specifically to host the Bolobek Garden Fair. It is a destination well worth the drive. With over 50 specialist stallholders, the Bolobek Garden Fair offers everything from rare plants and bulbs, garden tools, gourmet food and wine as well as the chance to experience the historic garden individually or on a guided tour.
This year’s keynote speaker is Jo Lawson, head Gardener at the highly acclaimed Victorian, regional restaurant Brae. A dynamic individual very much devoted to the soil. Jo brings her passion, philosophy, planning and vision required on garden cultivation, cooking from the garden, eating seasonally and the flavour and satisfaction that the simple life can bring, not to mention keeping a small army of chefs supplied with the bounty surrounding the restaurant.
