The Federal Government’s recent $1 billion package to help victim-survivors of domestic “fell short”, thats according to the Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV)’s CEO.
Kate Wright calls it a knee-jerk reaction.
The funding announcement came following last Wednesday’s emergency national cabinet meeting, called after 100,000 took to the streets to protest the rise in gendered violence.
