CFA’s Oscar One team rescued an uninjured dog from a mine shaft near Maldon on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to the incident on South-Parkins Reef Road at Maldon at around 4.21 p.m.
A CFA spokesperson said crews found the 12-month-old dog had fallen 25 metres into the shaft.
