Councilors Consider Re-opening Hargreaves Mall to Traffic

The opening of Hargreaves Mall to traffic will be discussed at the City of Greater Bendigo council meeting held tonight.

A new report has deemed reopening the Mall to traffic too dangerous and expensive, saying it could cost up to $5 million.

Acting CEO of the City of Greater Bendigo, Brian Westley, says the council is currently considering the decision with an understanding that other regional councils have recently made the change to their malls.
