Lifeline Loddon Mallee’s Urgent Callout for Funding

Lifeline Loddon Mallee is calling for the state government to provide $119,000 in funding as it struggles to keep up with the volume of calls coming.

According to Lifeline’s figures, demand has now climbed 36 percent since the start of the pandemic and its center answered more than 18,000 calls in the 12 months to the end of July.

Nationals member for Northern Victoria Gaelle Broad says it “is just a drop in the ocean when you look at how important it is to maintain these services.”
