Lifeline Looking Out for Locals Doing-it-tough Over XMAS

The team at Lifeline Loddon Mallee continues to extend its support to locals doing it tough, especially following the festive season.

For some, the holiday period can be a tough time, where help is limited and often the idea of reaching out can be intimidating.

Lisa Renato from Lifeline Loddon Mallee encourages locals to pick up the phone when times are tough – in conversation with Robbo on the Wake Up Call.

Lifeline Loddon Mallee has seen a steady increase in calls for help over the past few years, including a recent jump following wild weather across the state, and is now seeking locals to join their dedicated team as crisis support volunteers – as the demand for crisis services and support continues to rise.

Lifeline Loddon Mallee has answered over 18,000 calls in the year until 30th June.
