Local Comics Prepare For The Hustle and Bustle of Australia’s Top Comedy Competition

 

Australia’s biggest comedy competition takes to Hustler in Bendigo this Sunday. 

 

Funny folk will deliver their best five-minute skits as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW series. 

 

Bendigo Comedy Festival’s Luke Morris said it’s been great to get the town on the comedy circuit map.

 

“Obviously, we’ve got the Bendigo Comedy Festival, there’s a few regular gigs happening in Bendigo, we’ve got a avid local base of people really keen to make everyone laugh and make Bendigo known as a fun, enjoyable happy town.” 

 

He added that the event is being MC’d by self-styled, tsar of the

front bar, baron of the beer garden, Tim Hewitt. 

 

“We think Tim’s going to be absolutely cracker in Bendigo,” he said.
