Local Protests Ambulance Station Demolition

The old Inglewood Ambulance station has been torn down, despite a local effort to save the facility.

Locals hoped the building, which was built through fundraising efforts in the 1980s, would be repurposed, but their voices were not heard as the state government proceeded with demolition.

A brave Inglewood resident, Howard Rochester, spoke to the ABC from inside the station just before it was knocked down.
