This National Missing Persons Week, Police say new information could be key in bringing families closure and solving decades-old cases.
There are more than 2500 long-term missing persons in Australia — including Allan Whyte and Maureen Braddy who went missing on the evening of Saturday 23 November 1968, after attending a dance at the YMCA Hall in Mundy Street, Bendigo.
CEO of the Missed Foundation, Loren O’Keeffe, said this Missing Persons Week is crucial to raising awareness and helping loved ones.
