A man in his sixties has died after allegedly being lit on fire in an attack in Wheatsheaf on Tuesday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at around 10.25am when there was altercation at a property on Wallaby Road in the small township on Daylesford’s outskirts.
The victim was flown to hospital at the time but died during overnight.

Police say a 63-year-old man has been arrested, interviewed and his charges will be upgraded to murder.
He will appear before the Ballarat Magistrate’s court on Wednesday.
