A school-aged child has been treated by paramedics after an accident near Epsom Village at 8.35am on Wednesday morning.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed to Gold that the child is believed to be in a stable condition.
The air ambulance service has been deployed by authorities.
A nearby shop owner said the section between the railway line and Great Beginnings childcare centre has been cordoned off by police and ambulance services.
