Three teenagers have been arrested after an alleged carjacking led to a police chase.
It’s alleged three boys approached a man early Sunday morning after he exited his car on Watson Street in California Gully.
Police allege one of the boys had a knife and demanded the keys to the man’s red Toyota sedan, which they stole and drove off.
With the assistance of Air Wing, the car was followed to Wallan, where all boys allegedly left the car and attempted to flee.
Two 17-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy were caught at around 4am and charged with aggravated carjacking with an offensive weapon.
They will face the children’s court at a later date.
