Around eight CFA trucks and several police cars were deployed to tackle a house fire burning out of control in Eaglehawk just after midnight last night.
The blaze at the “Virginia Hill” housing precinct on Kirkwood Road was brought under control around 3 am.
The former a public housing estate that is set to be redeveloped and due for demolition, was the site of at least two other house fires in the past two months.
