A man and a woman have been arrested overnight after allegedly ramming a police car in Rochester.
Authorities received reports of a suspicious vehicle near McColl Road shortly before midnight last night.
They then located a blue and white Nissan Navara, stopped next to each other with people trying to load a motorcycle onto the white Navara.

The blue Navara, which was towing a trailer, then sped towards police and crashed into the front of their vehicle.
A 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman then attempted to flee the scene on foot, but were chased down and apprehended by police.
They are both assisting police with their enquiries.
The other ute managed to leave the scene before police could speak to the driver.
