Two Underage Offenders Allegedly Cause Station Fire

Two underage offenders face multiple charges after allegedly causing a fire at the Malmsbury Railway Station on the 31st of January.

Emergency services discovered the historic Old Station Masters House engulfed in flames just before 6 o’clock on Wednesday.

Macedon Ranges Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged a 17-year-old Bendigo girl and a 16-year-old Bendigo boy with burglary and criminal damage by fire.

Both will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
