V/Line’s Impending Strike Over Core Concerns

Vline staff could be set to strike over negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.

The Rail, Tram, and Bus Union have filed documents with the Fair Work Commission for V/Line operations staff to take industrial action.

The union says VLine is refusing to address the core concerns of members including job security, increased workloads, cost of living pressures, and staffing levels.

Union Secretary Vik Sharma tells the AAP that “V/Line is not listening to staff and they are yet to see meaningful commitments on the reported issues.”
