Victoria Continues to Oppose Water Buybacks

The Victorian Government continues its strong opposition to water buybacks by the Federal Government – the only state to do so.

Water Minister, Harriet Shing, says that evidence shows buybacks do real harm, lead to significant job losses, and cause very significant hardships across communities.

Nationals Member for Northern Victoria Gaelle Broad says she will continue to hold the minister to account on her promise.
