Victorians Save $50M Thanks to Fairer V/line Fares

Victorians have been enjoying reduced V/Line fares for over a year now, thanks to the Regional Fare Cap imposed by the State Government.

Across the state, fairer fares have saved Victorians more than $50 million in the first year.

A return trip between Bendigo and Southern Cross is now capped at the daily metro fare of $10.60 but previously, it cost up to $68.80.
