Two people will face court after being caught speeding on the Calder Freeway on Sunday.
Police allege a 29 year old woman from Southbank was travelling at 165km/hr at about 8:40am on Sunday, before having her Mercedes impounded.
Police then intercepted a 27 year old man from Kyneton shortly after, when he sped past officers in a Holden Commodore, travelling at 151/km/hr.
Both will be summonsed for traffic offences.
More police were on the road right around Victoria over the Queen's birthday long weekend as part of Operation Regal, which targeted drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol, not wearing seatbelts, and using mobile phones when behind the wheel.
