No bail application for man charged over Golden Square fatality

The man accused of killing teen Michael Keating fronted court in Melbourne yesterday.

Appearing in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court, Matthew Grey didn't apply for bail after Friday's fatal collision in Golden Square. 

The truck driver struck the 18 year old shortly after midday at the intersection of Hattam Street and Woodward Road, and is accused of dangerous driving causing death. 

He has been remanded in custody before a committal mention on October 16 in the Bendigo Magistrates Court, where he will appear via video link.
