Jackass Flat is the latest site to be fenced off over toxic sand.
The historic mining site on Prouses Road has high levels of arsenic in calcine sand and will be sectioned off next month.
The sand will be sprayed with a dark green polymer coating to stop it from leaving the site.
The same process that occurred in Maiden Gully and California Gully in earlier years.
Meantime the EPA says most people have a very small chance of being affected by arsenic in mine tailings.
