The City of Greater Bendigo is set to make a major tourism event announcement this morning, with growing speculation it could be the Lost Trades Fair.
Council issued a release to media last night about a major event to be held in Bendigo for the next three years, starting early 2020.
The Lost Trades Fair confirmed it was looking for a new home to host the event back in June, having outgrown its current space in Kyneton which saw over 22,000 people attend this year.
It had been thought the event could make the move to Ballarat, but its council confirmed yesterday the event will be held elsewhere in regional Victoria, while artisans at the fair have remained tight lipped over the news.
The official announcement will be made at 10:30am in the Library Gardens..
