Police and emergency services attended an incident at the Bendigo Airfield today.
Police have been told an ultra light plane conducted an emergency landing at about 10.15am.
The pilot, a 63–year-old Eaglehawk man and the co-pilot, a 78–year-old Eaglehawk man weren’t injured.
Australian Transport Safety Bureau and Civil Aviation Safety Authority will be notified.
Emergency crews are currently on the scene of an aircraft incident at Bendigo Airport.
Crews were called at 10:15am to reports of a plane crash after a two seater light plane leaking fuel on the north-south runway.
A CFA spokesperson says crews are currently cleaning the site with foam, and no one is injured or trapped.
Police and SES are also on the scene, and the incident was marked as under control at 10:26am.
It's understood the north-south runway will be closed for incoming planes for some time while the clean up is underway.
