A number of V/Line services on the Bendigo line are facing delays or cancellations after an incident overnight.
It's understood a train has come off the tracks due to shunting last night which has caused headaches for a number of commuters this morning.
Crews are reportedly still on site assessing the train, and it is still not yet known when it will be moved.
A spokesperson for V/Line says they have replaced train services by coaches where required, and are working to rectify the issue for the afternoon peak.
“Some Bendigo line services are being replaced by coaches today. We apologise to passengers for this late change and understand this is frustrating,” said a V/Line spokesperson.
“We are working to provide a combination of express and semi express coaches to help get people where they need to go.”
