Vacancy rates for Bendigo are still among the lowest in Victoria, according to new figures.
New data from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria shows that in August the vacancy rate for rentals in the Bendigo-Loddon region was sitting at just 1.1 per cent.
The average rate for rental vacancies in Victoria is two per cent, while in regional parts of the state, that figure drops to 1.5 per cent.
REIV says the low rate in Bendigo reflects the high demand for rental properties in the area.
The lowest rate in the state is in Mildura-Mallee, with a vacancy rate of just 0.9 per cent.
