A burst gas main in Castlemaine has led to police cordoning-off a street and the stopping of a Bendigo-to-Melbourne train for 30-minutes.
The CFA was first notified that an object had struck the high-pressure main around 9 this morning.
Police blocked off Kennedy Street as well as half a train platform at the nearby Castlemaine station.
The gas company had to bring in equipment from Melbourne to repair the line.
EnergySafe Victoria and Worksafe have attended the scene which has now been declared safe.
