Actor and occasional singer Bruce Willis is 65 on the 19th of March.
Before becoming a Hollywood star, some of Bruce's jobs include security guard, a private investigator and bartender.
He had a couple of small tv roles in Miami Vice and The Twilight Zone before landing the role of David Addison opposite Cybil Shepherd on Moonlighting.
The show ran for five seasons and made Willis a household name.
His first leading role in a movie was Blind Date in '87 opposite Kim Bassinger.
His seventh movie changed his life and bank balance, the action movie Die Hard.
Die Hard 2 came out in 1990 and out grossed the original but a year later Hudson Hawk was a flop.
Some of his other hit movies in the 90's were Pulp Fiction, The Sixth Sense, Armageddon and another Die Hard film.
In 2000 he won an Emmy playing the father of Ross Geller's girlfriend on the tv show Friends.
In 2013 he stared as John McLean again in the fifth Die Hard movie and 2018 he was "honoured" as the guest of a Comedy Central Roast.
Last year he appeared in three movies and his voice was in The Lego Movie 2.
