The End of The Madness...For Now


British pop group Madness broke up on the 4th of September 1986.

The band had formed in 1976 as The North London Invaders and became Madness in '79.

They had a number of hits in the 80's including House Of Fun, It Must Be Love, Driving In My Car and Baggy Trousers.

The band reformed six years later after their compilation album Divine Madness reached Number One in the UK.
