Golden Dragon Museum –Front Desk/Retail and Gallery Attendant/Guides to welcome visitors
Golden Dragon Museum volunteers play a crucial part in the Museum’s operations and form an important team that is central to many of their programs.
Volunteering involves three main areas: Front Desk/Retail; Gallery Attendant/Guides; and Collection/Administration.
• You do not need to be able to speak Chinese or even have any particular knowledge or expertise in Chinese art or history.

Volunteer Vacancies exist at the Bendigo and kangaroo Flat Uniting Emergency Relief Centre.
Emergency Relief Team Members assist with client support and interviews or in the storeroom with the packing and distribution of food. Interviewers meet with clients to determine support needs and eligibility. Other duties may include reception, entry of client data, general operations of the program and maintaining the work environment. Days and hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 10am – 4pm
Discovery Centre: “The Circus is Back in Town!”
Discovery Science and Technology Centre is looking for volunteers interested in being part of their Circus school holiday program this Summer? They are looking for volunteers who are keen to get involved in some fun makerspace activities.
This would involve helping get families get excited about science by showing them some fun science activities they can do at Discovery, sneaking into some science shows and planetarium shows, some free icy poles and endless tea and coffee!
