Frankie Was Born in May 1934

Singer and frontman for The Four Seasons, Frankie Valli, is 85 on the 3rd of May.


Frankie's first foray into singing came in the early 50's via The Variety Trio, who offered him a guest singing spot.

After performing in a few singing groups, success came with The Four Seasons who hit Number One in '62 with Sherry.

Other charts hits for the band in the 60's included Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like A Man, Stay and Let's Hang On.

In the 70's the song December '63 was their biggest hit and charted again in '94 when remixed.

As a solo artist, Frankie hit Number One in '74 with My Eyes Adored You and he topped the charts again in '78 with the theme to the movie Grease.

In 2005 the stage show Jersey Boys opened telling the story of Frankie and The Four Seasons.

As a actor Frankie has appeared on the tv shows Miami Vice, The Sopranos, Hawaii Five-O and Full House.
