Singer, songwriter and musician Bob Seger is 74 on the 6th of May.
Bob joined his first band The Decibels in '62 and then The Town Criers, who recorded a version of the classic song Louie Louie.
His first chart hit came in '68 as The Bob Seger System with Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, which featured a young Glenn Frey on guitar.
After years of misses, Bob had success in '76 with Night Moves followed by further hits in the 70's including Still The Same, Hollywood Nights, We've Got Tonight and Old Time Rock 'n' Roll.
Some of his '80 hits include Against The Wind, Fire Lake, Like A Rock and Shakedown, from the movie Beverly Hills Copy II.
Old Time Rock 'n' Roll became a hit again when featured in the film Risky Business in '83.
Bob continues to tour and release new music, his most recent album was I Knew You When in 2017.
