Aussie country singer and songwriter Kasey Chambers is 43 on the 4th of June.
Kasey's parents sang as a country duo before she and her brother Nash joined in forming The Dead Ringer Band.
Kasey released her solo debut album called The Captain in 1999 and it hit Number One on the Aussie country charts and number 11 on the pop charts.
Her follow up album Barricades & Brickwalls made Number One on the ARIA charts, as did the single Not Pretty Enough.
A cover of True Colours went Top 5 and her next three albums also topped the charts.
Kasey has recorded material with fellow country singer and ex-husband Shane Nicholson, Powderfinger's Bernard Fanning and with her dad Bill.
Last year Kasey released her twelth album Campfire and she was inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame.
Kasey performed before this year's Country Match between Essendon and Geelong at the MCG and was kind enough to pose for a photograph.
