Something Good From Herman's Hermits

British pop group Herman's Hermits released their debut single I'm Into Something Good on the 7th of August 1964.

Written by hit songwriters Gerry Goffin and Carole King, the song was first recorded by Cookies member Earl-Jean.

The Herman's Hermits' version made Number One in the UK and Number 13 in America.

The song has appeared in films including The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad & The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue.

Carole King has said the song was inspired by Beach Boy Brian Wilson, who recorded a version in 2008.
