This Is Not Your Typical Christmas Carol

Directed by horror filmmaker Ti West, Ebenezer appears to take the familiar story and give it a seriously spooky makeover.

The latest trailer shows Scrooge being tormented by the supernatural forces surrounding him, including a terrifying visit from Jacob Marley, played by Ian McKellen.

And things get pretty dark, with the trailer even teasing Scrooge being buried alive.

The film also features an impressive cast including Rupert Grint, Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin, Andrea Riseborough and Ian McKellen.
