A public housing estate in Eaglehawk that has been earmarked for redevelopment, has been reduced to an eyesore by vandals and arsonists as it waits for demolition.
120 modern homes are due to be developed at the site – with the old tenants invited to return.
Security has been boosted at the Virginia Hill housing prescient, including CCTV, in light of three large fires over the past two months with the most recent attack, shortly after midnight on Tuesday, destroying an unoccupied two-story home on Argus Court.
