The Air Wing unit, which was in the region that evening, then followed the vehicle as it travelled through multiple Bendigo suburbs, including Kennington, White Hills, Epsom and Eaglehawk.

One of the occupants, a 22-year-old male exited the Corolla on Daniel St, Long Gully, and was soon after seen going into a home in nearby Albert St, before being taken into custody.

The vehicle was then found dumped on York St, with a 45-year-old man, believed to be the driver arrested nearby.

That same Toyota Corolla was reportedly taken from a property in Castlemaine on February 18th.

Police have charged the older male with several offences, including the theft of a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods, fixing a stolen registration plate on vehicle, driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and drug-driving.
