The BDCA was convincingly beaten by Sale-Maffra at Brighten Beach oval yesterday.
The side’s top order crumbled, losing Brayden Stepien and Grant Waldropn for single figures.

The loss means Bendigo will now need to beat the white-hot Mornington-Peninsula and Latrobe Valley in its final two matches to qualify for Friday’s grand final.
Bendigo won the series when it last took place in 2020.
