Bendigo Foodshare is calling on residents as part of their annual community food drive.
Big yellow bins will be out the front of the Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and IGA in the coming weeks.
The last food drive in June saw the organisation received 5000kg of food.

Chief executive of Bendigo Foodshare Michelle Murphy told Gold that support for their services are needed more than ever.
“We’re seeing a really big increase in the number of people coming to us and calling us directly,” she said.

The organisation supports 71 organisations across Central Victoria, with 21 of those impacted by recent flooding.
