The Australian Medical Association has released damning figures on Bendigo Health’s ability to deliver care within recommended timeframes.

The report indicated that only two-thirds of patients needing treatment within one hour received adequate care in the hospital’s emergency department.
The same report recorded that only three of Australia’s 201 public hospitals are providing care within adequate timeframes.
It comes as the peak medical body looks to renew a push for 50-50 federal and state funding for hospitals ahead of Friday’s national cabinet.
