Member For Bendigo East, Jacinta Allan is Victoria’s new Premier to take over from Daniel Andrews after she was elected unopposed.
The decision was made a short time ago at a caucus meeting making Jacinta Allan the state’s 49th Premier. Also the second member from the Bendigo electorate following Sir Albert Dunstan, the member for Eaglehawk also leading Victoria from 1935 to 1945.
Premier Elect Allan made sure to mention her hometown and electorate in her speech to the public.
