The Bendigo Football Netball League has honoured the life and contributions of the late Carol Bingham by announcing the B-Grade netball best and fairest medal will be named in her memory.
Inducted in the league’s Hall of Fame, Bingham coached nearly 600 games at Kangaroo flat, with a winning record of 72 per cent.
She coached in six A-Grade grand finals, winning four premierships in 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2009.
Carol was also made a life member of the Kangaroo Flat Football Netball Club in 2009 and Kangaroo Flat’s A-Grade best and fairest award is named in her honour.
She passed away in September of 2021.
