One year on from Lifeblood lifting the ‘mad cow’ ban on blood and plasma donation for UK ex-pats and people who lived in the UK, Bendigo Lifeblood has seen 180 donors, who previously would have been affected by the rule, make 802 donations.
Lifeblood Executive Director of Donor Experience, Cath Stone, says the organisation was thrilled with the uptake in donations across the country.
