A whopping $3 million has been invested by the state government to move Castlemaine’s Workspace Australia centre to Etty Street.

The cash splash will upgrade the Castlemaine Secondary College campus is upgraded, allow 80 small businesses to operate in the centre and create dedicated food production facilities.
In addition, the project will lead to 80 direct jobs, 40 construction jobs and $7 million in economic output.

Workspace Australia is currently located over three floors at Halford street, hosting business meetings, training and conferences all at no cost to occupants.
All their centres come with free business mentoring and advice.
