Central Victorian pet owners are being warned about the dangers of tasty treats ahead of this Easter long weekend.

Chocolate and hot cross buns are toxic to your furry friends, with easter lilies poisonous to cats also.

Chief Vet at RSPCA Victoria, Dr. Bronwyn Oke, says please don’t wait to get treatment if your pets have eaten chocolate, as it may potentially be a life-threatening situation.
