Local artist Georgia Delves, also known by her stage name of Georgia State Line, will be looking to do Central Victoria proud as she eyes off an ARIA award at Thursday’s music industry night of nights.

The Bendigo-raised singer songwriter has been nominated for Best Country Album.
She grew up singing in school choirs by day and grungy pub rock stages by night.
Speaking to Robbo on the Wake Up Call last week, she said she was “drawn to storytelling” through her music.

“Country wasn’t the first thing that I naturally gravitated toward, but once I started writing my own songs I definitely started listening to the genre a lot more.”
She said playing violin as a child mean she searched for “melodic driven” music.
