Two men were taken to hospital after a crash in Kyneton on Saturday afternoon.
A 30-year-old driver has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital under police guard.
Meanwhile, there were two fatal car crashes outside the towns of Donald and Charlton last week.

Tragically, 12 of the 14 deaths on Victorian roads in 2023 have been in regional and rural areas.
