Lifeblood Australia is asking Central Victorians to roll up their sleeves for its annual Christmas Blood Blitz.
An extra 830 donations a day are needed across the country to prevent a blood shortage over the festive season – with 150 appointments available at the Bendigo Blood Donation Centre.
Lifeblood Executive Director of Donor Experience, Cath Stone, encourages locals to donate, especially during the busy holiday season.
