Yesterday’s search to find the body of missing Ballarat East mum Samantha Murphy has proven unsuccessful.
After intelligence into Murphy’s location was gathered from several sources, efforts to find her ramped up again as specialist units joined the Missing Person Squad in combing the Buninyong Bushland Reserve area for information.
Police confirmed in a short statement there’ll be no further searching after her body was not found yesterday, however more could be planned over the coming weeks.

Police are asking members of the public to not join the search efforts.
